Jon Rahm held his nerve in a dramatic finish at the Jumeirah Golf Estates to win the DP World Tour Championship and, perhaps more importantly, the Race to Dubai.

Rahm was one of five contenders for the European Tour’s season-long prize and despite being locked on 18-under with clubhouse leader Tommy Fleetwood going down the last, the Spaniard produced a sublime greenside bunker shot to set-up a four-foot birdie putt, which he duly rolled in to secure the honours.
